Good With Any Meal

You probably tasted a lot of amazing meals and dishes, which you thought are the tastiest thing on Earth. And yes, you were right, but they wouldn’t have that amazing taste unless they had some seasoning herbs added to them. You see how little is needed to make an amazing dish. However not only seasoning herbs add that amazing taste, many times chefs use different sauces which can make a horrible meal taste amazing. However to do such a sauce you will need a very good recipe and in this article we will show you how to make an Italian tomato sauce, one of the most basic, but yet tastiest sauces.

Of course you will need some ingredients to conjure that sauce. You’ll need seven table spoons of olive oil, half a red onion, two cloves of garlic, 800 grams of canned chopped tomatoes, 100ml of water and seasoning herbs. You can change the quantity of those ingredients a little bit depending on you taste, however it is recommended that you stick to the original quantity.

And of course you need some utensils in which to cook the sauce. So make sure you have a large knife, a frying pan (preferably deep), chopping board and a wooden spoon.

Turn the heat on the hot-plate to low. Place the pan on it and wait for a bit until it heats, then pour the 7 olive oil spoons into the pan and wait for it to sizzle. While you are awaiting peel and cut the onion. Afterwards start cutting into the smallest pieces you can. When the oil starts to sizzle, add the onions to the pan and wait for them to fry. From time to time shake the pan so you can move around the onions and allow them to evenly fry. They should be done in about 7 minutes depending on the pan size.

Peel the two garlic and add them to the pan, afterwards it is time to flavor the sauce. Add two pinches of black pepper, and 3 pinches of salt. When this is done open the canned tomatoes and pour them into the pan. Use the wooden spoon to stir the sauce until it is evenly distributed. Let it cook for about 20 minutes and if it starts to burn you must add the some water. After the 20 minutes pass add the 100ml of water to the sauce and stir for about 2 minutes. This way you will allow the garlic and onions to fry better and let out their true taste and aroma.

The Italian tomato sauce can be used with any meal you can think of, however they are best when they are consumed with pasta, so make sure to look for some good pasta recipes and try the sauce in its whole majesty. However you can eat the sauce without any other food and it will still have an astonishing flavor.
